Brenda Ray was born and raised in central Minnesota. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from The College of St. Benedict with an emphasis in Commercial Art and Photography.
Shortly after graduating, she began her professional career as a colored pencil artist doing commissioned portraits for individuals and charitable organizations. She is a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and has been recognized both locally and regionally for her talent and dedication.
Michèle Villaume-Driscoll creates large-scale contemporary works meant to be felt rather than explained.
Inspired by global travel and Asian culture, she layers Japanese Washi papers, calligraphy, and metal leaf into luminous, textured surfaces. In 2022, she and her husband opened the Villaume-Driscoll Gallery in Spring Park, MN, a family-run space on Lake Minnetonka. Working with encaustic, resin, pigments, and even natural elements like sand and bark, Michèle’s art bridges tradition and innovation, inviting viewers into an emotional, sensory journey.
Father Jerome Tupa is a Benedictine monk, priest and professor of French at St. John's Abbey/University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
Father Tupa has spent over five decades blending spiritual devotion with bold, colorful artistry. From his studies at the Sorbonne in Paris to a creative breakthrough in Rome, his work has evolved from vibrant figurative scenes to powerful abstractions like his acclaimed Sentinels of Fire series. Deeply inspired by pilgrimage, both physical and spiritual, Tupa’s paintings and watercolors merge ancient iconography with modern expression, inviting viewers to embark on their own journey of reflection and discovery.
